Health & Medical Disclaimer

Last updated · 2026-05-05

BodyBioLog is not medical advice. The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Nothing in the app, on this website, in our AI responses, or in our marketing should be construed as professional medical advice. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making any health, fitness, supplement, or medication decision.

BodyBioLog is a consumer wellness application that helps people track their health, log protocols, analyze biosignals, and connect with independent coaches. It is not a regulated medical device. We are not a clinic, hospital, or licensed healthcare provider, and our employees are not your doctors.

1. AI-generated content

BodyBioLog's AI features — Health Score analysis, daily insights, the AI chat, lab biomarker interpretation, peptide protocol guidance, meal analysis, workout plan generation, weekly recap, and similar — are observational and educational only.

  • AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
  • AI cannot replace a physician, registered dietitian, psychologist, or any other licensed clinician.
  • Do not act on AI guidance for any medical decision without verifying it with a qualified healthcare professional.
  • AI is not aware of every medication you take, every allergy you have, or every condition you've been diagnosed with — even if you've logged some of these.

2. Peptides

Most peptides referenced in BodyBioLog are research chemicals not approved by the FDA for human use. Examples include but are not limited to BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, Tesamorelin (when used outside its approved indication), Ipamorelin, CJC-1295, Semaglutide (outside prescription), and similar compounds. The legal status, safety profile, dosing, and long-term effects of many peptides are not fully established.

  • BodyBioLog tracks your protocol; it does not prescribe peptides or supply them.
  • Information about peptides in the app and AI responses is for tracking and educational reference only.
  • Use of research peptides for human consumption may be illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • Always consult a licensed physician — preferably one experienced in peptide therapy — before using any peptide. Source peptides only through reputable, legal channels.

3. Lab interpretation

BodyBioLog allows you to upload lab PDFs for AI-assisted biomarker extraction and interpretation. The interpretations are AI-generated and:

  • May misread values, units, or reference ranges.
  • Use generic optimal-range guidelines that may not match your individual context (age, sex, condition, ethnicity, medications).
  • Do not consider your full medical history.
  • Should always be reviewed with the clinician who ordered the labs.

Never make a treatment decision — including starting, stopping, or adjusting a supplement, hormone therapy, or medication — based on BodyBioLog's lab analysis alone.

4. Supplements and medications

BodyBioLog tracks the supplements and medications you log, sends you reminders, and lets you see adherence trends. We do not prescribe, supply, or recommend any specific supplement or medication. Supplements can:

  • Interact dangerously with prescription medications.
  • Be contraindicated for specific conditions, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
  • Be poorly regulated — quality, dose, and purity vary by brand.

Discuss every new supplement with your physician or pharmacist, especially if you take prescription medications or have a chronic condition.

5. Workouts and physical activity

Exercise programs in BodyBioLog (including AI-generated workouts and coach-prescribed programs) are general fitness guidance.

  • Consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen.
  • If you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, or any acute symptom during exercise, stop immediately and seek medical attention.
  • Do not "push through pain" — pain is information, not weakness.
  • BodyBioLog is not a substitute for a qualified strength coach, physical therapist, or athletic trainer for injury rehabilitation.

6. Mental health and crisis

BodyBioLog is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, having thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or experiencing a mental health emergency, contact emergency services immediately:

  • US: 988 — Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text)
  • US Emergency: 911
  • UK: 116 123 — Samaritans
  • International: findahelpline.com

AI features in BodyBioLog will, on detecting acute distress, point you toward these resources. They are not a replacement for emergency care or ongoing mental health treatment.

7. Pregnancy, minors, and chronic conditions

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, or living with a chronic condition (cardiovascular disease, diabetes, kidney or liver disease, cancer, autoimmune disorder, etc.), you should be especially careful with any wellness program — including BodyBioLog. Speak with your physician before logging supplements, peptides, fasting protocols, or aggressive exercise programs.

8. Healthcare providers using BodyBioLog

Coaches and other professionals using BodyBioLog with clients are independent third parties. Their guidance is their own. BodyBioLog is the platform; we are not the prescriber. If you are a licensed healthcare provider using BodyBioLog with patients and need a Business Associate Agreement for HIPAA-covered uses, contact us at support@bodybiolog.com.

9. Acknowledgment

By using BodyBioLog, you acknowledge that:

  • BodyBioLog does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • AI content in BodyBioLog can be wrong and is not a substitute for professional care.
  • Peptide and supplement information is for tracking only — not a recommendation to use them.
  • You assume full responsibility for any health, training, or supplement decision you make.
  • You will consult a licensed physician before making material changes to your health regimen.
  • BodyBioLog and BodyBioLog LLC are not liable for any harm resulting from your reliance on the Service.

10. Updates and contact

We may update this Disclaimer when our features change or when regulatory guidance shifts. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and surfaced in-app. Questions: support@bodybiolog.com.
