Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open BodyBioLog → Settings → Subscription → Manage, or visit bodybiolog.com/coach/billing if you're a coach. You can also cancel directly through Stripe by clicking the link in any of your Stripe receipt emails. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep Pro access until then.
How do I delete my account?
Open BodyBioLog → Settings → Delete Account. Confirm twice. Your data is permanently deleted from 29 tables in our database within 30 days, with most cleared immediately. If you cannot open the app, email support@bodybiolog.com from your registered email and we will delete the account within 7 business days.
What data does BodyBioLog send to AI?
Anonymized excerpts of your biosignal data (HRV, sleep, RHR), recent protocol activity, and lab marker values — never your name, email, or any direct identifier. AI requests go to Anthropic's Claude API; per Anthropic's commercial API terms, your data is not used to train their models. Full breakdown in our Privacy Policy.
Can I use BodyBioLog without a coach?
Yes. The default experience is solo. Coach features only appear if you connect to one with an invite code. You can use the entire app — wearables, AI, labs, protocols, workouts, nutrition — without ever adding a coach.
Is my health data secure?
Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256, Supabase Storage and Postgres). Row-level security ensures users can only access their own rows. Lab PDFs and progress photos are stored in encrypted Supabase Storage with per-user access. We do not sell, share for advertising, or broker your data. How do I sync Apple Health / Health Connect / Oura / Garmin?
Open BodyBioLog → Settings → Integrations. Tap the provider, grant the requested permissions, and we'll start importing immediately. You can disconnect at any time from the same screen. Disconnecting stops new data imports; the previously imported data remains in your account until you delete it.
How do I upload lab results?
Open BodyBioLog → Labs tab → +. Take a photo of the lab printout or pick a PDF from your Files app. The AI extracts every biomarker value with its reference range, color-codes out-of-range markers, and offers a one-paragraph interpretation. You can edit or delete extracted values if the AI misreads them.

What does the Health Score mean?
Your Health Score is a 0-100 composite computed from your last 7-14 days of data: HRV (recovery quality), sleep depth and duration, resting heart rate, protocol adherence, and recent lab markers. It updates daily for Pro users; weekly for free users. The number is a directional signal, not a diagnostic — treat it as feedback, not a diagnosis.
I found a bug — how do I report it?
Email support@bodybiolog.com with the subject BUG, plus the details from the callout above. Critical bugs (data loss, security, billing) get same-day attention.
How do I get a refund?
Pro-rated refunds are not standard. If you cancel during your free trial you are not charged. If you believe you've been charged in error, email support@bodybiolog.com and we will look into it. App Store purchases (if any) are refunded through Apple per their refund policy.
Is there a Coach version of BodyBioLog?
Yes — bodybiolog.com/coach/signup. Health, wellness, and fitness coaches can manage clients, prescribe protocols, send messages, review labs and stats, and bill clients via Stripe Connect. Three tiers (Starter / Pro / Elite) with a 14-day free trial on each.
Status
BodyBioLog runs on Supabase, Vercel, and Anthropic. If something is broken across the board, it's typically one of those three. We don't have a public status page yet; for outage updates, follow bodybiolog.com or email support.
